EA-EMDR Course: EMDR International Association Approved

For those who wanted to fully integrate EMDR and equine assisted therapy there has been no formal guide or protocol for Equine-Assisted EMDR until now.

The EquiLateral™ Equine-Assisted EMDR Course

for EMDR Therapists & Equine Professionals

The 30 hour EMDR International Association Approved $1500 course runs via a combination of webinars, interactive learning, Q and A discussions, readings, coaching, in-depth reviews of case examples & a jam packed three day EquiLateral: The Equine Assisted EMDR Practicum. EMDRIA Approved For 15 Credits

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a comprehensive & integrative treatment of choice for trauma treatment. EquiLateral™ is the Equine-Assisted EMDR Protocol, the premiere integration of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and EMDR to become Equine-Assisted EMDR. We are still doing the eight phases of EMDR, but through an equine-assisted approach. This is the first training of its kind, and is approved by the EMDR International Association.

This one of a kind training takes you step-by-step through the eight phases of EMDR with an equine, covering the “how to’s” of integrating EMDR and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) through the EquiLateral™ Equine-Assisted EMDR Protocol.

This course is open to EMDR therapists who have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic Training and their Equine Professional partners, or those dually trained as EMDR therapists and Equine Professionals.

You will learn the integration of EMDR and EAP to become Equine-Assisted EMDR as it applies to your practice with webinars, hands-on sessions, Q and A discussions, coaching, and in-depth reviews of case examples.

Participants must complete ALL of the scheduled events.
